It’s okay

Compared to a standard neck harness, the weight is attached to a more leveraged point here, making it easier but thus needing more load to hit the same stimulus. The sizing of the device isn’t the easiest to nail down (different sized pads to attach to try to get it right for your head) and even when you clamp the weights all the way down, there is still some looseness so the device will wobble and shake on your head a bit. You can get work out of this but this device is definitely an iteration or two away from being worth the purchase. If you’re planning on doing deadlifts or any movement that might be slightly dynamic, it’s going to move on you a bit.

Kensui is the best

I ordered this and the package was stolen, and they were able to send another one and it arrived safely. The product itself is interesting and works well, especially with bands. Weigh weights it's a bit cumbersome compared to just using a neck harness and I'm not sure about the point, but, with bands and when used for rotation, it's just as good (if not better) than the "Iron Neck" which is much more expensive. Kensui also sells an EZ-Neck device which is good for neck curls and neck extensions, this device can also do those but not quite as well. So overall I'd recommend getting both this and the EZ-Neck, and using this for rotations with bands, and using the EZ-Neck for extensions and curls. If you have your own bands you don't need to buy the bands from Kensui of course (I already had a collection of bands from elsewhere which the EZ-Helm worked with).

My only minor complaint is that I have large ears, and the side parts (the parts that you screw in the attachments) are so large they overlap with my ears, which is somewhat uncomfortable. It's not a big deal, as you are only going to wear it for a few minutes to do the exercises, not for hours on end, just be aware that it will be uncomfortable if you have large ears.

This is a great product. I would give it a 9/10 stars if possible. One thing that would make it perfect is if the strap would fit onto the chin like an NFL football helmet. The default strap gives a choking effect when tucking the chin. The service was great. I accidentally put my billing address as the shipping address but they changed it with no charge. This is a very innovative piece of equipment.
